- My JL is not a Rubicon 392 — this hood does not fit the 392 variant
- My Jeep is not a JK (2007-2018 round headlights) — JK is a separate tooling, not interchangeable
- If I drive a Gladiator JT (2020+, not Mojave) — compatible, but please order on the JT page
- The hood latch reuses factory parts — no modifications needed

Will it leak in rain?
No worse than factory. The engine bay is never sealed — vents route water through the original drain paths. Don't expect "waterproof"; it's a vent, not an umbrella. Full explanation →
Does it really lower engine temperature?
Honestly: low-speed off-roading, idle and crawling show a real drop (about −10 to −15 °F in our testing); at highway cruise the effect is limited. If you run hot at highway speed, check the radiator, fan and thermostat first. We don't do hype. See the data →
Does it need paint? What does paint cost?

How hard is the install?
