Why Hoodsmith Co.
It fits, guaranteed.
Every hood is checked against factory panel lines before it leaves the line. Before you order, our fitment checklist confirms your model. If it doesn't match, the return is on us — you never pay for a wrong-fit hood.
Ready to paint, not ready to fail.
Our hoods ship in black primer, giving you full paint freedom. And we tell you the real budget up front — a body shop typically charges $300–600 — instead of hiding it until the box arrives.
In stock, in the US.
Stock sits in our US warehouse and dispatches in 2–5 business days, with LTL freight to your door included in the price (lower 48). No six-week pre-orders, no "arriving next month" limbo.
A marketplace veteran, now selling direct
We spent years selling Jeep hoods through the big online marketplaces. We saw exactly where buyers get burned — 45-day ocean freight, warranties that vanish, no one answering the phone when something's wrong. Hoodsmith Co. is our fix: the same part, sold direct from our own US warehouse, with a 60-day warranty, a fitment guarantee, and a real person who replies. No middleman, no disappearing act.
What we'll honestly say about cooling
A vented hood genuinely helps heat escape at low-speed off-roading, idle and crawling (on the order of −10 to −15 °F in our testing). At highway cruise, the airflow benefit is limited. If your Jeep runs hot at highway speed, check the radiator and fan first — that's not a hood problem. We don't sell exaggerated numbers. Read the full before/after test →
